I have never experienced such a faithful puppy as Kim. Yesterday I thought I'd take som photos, since the weather was so nice. I found a beautiful moss-covered cliff on which I put him. It was in a little hill too, so I thought I'd take som different shots from below, with just the sky as background. Kim didn't agree. When I sat down and pointed at him with the camera, he took a giant leep right into my arms, totally overjoyed!!! Gosh, that jump was both high and long! If I managed to catch him on the picture, I'll post it here as soon as it is developed, and here it is! >>>

Kim also shows great retrieving abilities. All puppies I've got earlier loves to catch a toy and carry it away from me. But they have all been suspicious about coming to me in the beginning with the toy. Not Kim, though! He plunges after the toy and returns with it at high speed and leeps up in my lap, proud to show me what he is capable of!

My little Kim also has a great passion about water. Several times he has bathed in the water bowl. Going out in the rain is nothing, the Poodles dislikes it though. They are actually water retrievers from the beginning... Kim thinks, just like most children, that it is a blast to jump in the water puddles... ;-)

And when mom has taken a bath, it is really exciting to crawl under the bath tub and closely investigate what happens in the drain...

Waiting for mom to finish her bath.

I had no idea that the Sheltie could show retrieving abilities and water passion just like a Retriever, but maybe I've missed something?

Hugs from Karin & Kim
