2003-08-08 From various reasons, we couldn't keep Lucy. It was a sad goodbye, and on the same time a revolutionary switch. Into our home 11 month young German Shepherd Nimbuz entered. It was a little stiff and some growls the first hours between the three gentlemens. Tintin, who is 9 years and by that the oldest, but also the tiniest (he's a Toy Poodle), did his best to stay on top - dispite arthritis and a sore back. Tintin gained Nimbuz's respect pretty fast, but it was more difficult with Kim, who is only a year older than Nimbuz. Mats and I agreed that we would interrupt every tendency of tension between the dogs, and keep them separated when we're not at home. 2003-10-29 Now that it's been a while, we find that Tintin IS the undoubtable leader of the pack. And Kim and Nimbuz are the best of friends! They kiss and snuggle against each other, and outdoors, Nimbuz is the one that is guarding the entire flock against "danger"! :-)
